Work History

Improv Lore

Aug 2024 – Present • Bengaluru

Community, Media Initiatives & Event Coordinator (part-time)

  • Run Instagram and all promotion. Grew it from 1,000 to 2,000+ followers. Last 90 days: 180,000 views, 110,000+ from non-followers, 2,800 profile visits and 400 link-in-bio taps. Most views came from the second marathon's reels.
  • Organised two improv marathons with Underline Center and did all the promotion. First (1 May 2026): 12 pm to 12 am, 4 shows, 4 workshops, 250 people registered. Second (2 Oct 2026): 2 pm to 2 am, 7 shows, 2 workshops, about 400 people bought tickets. Each sold 500+ tickets.
  • Built improvlore.com in Eleventy on Cloudflare. It holds our links and event calendar, and had 3,000+ unique visitors in the last six months.
  • Maintain the blog: weekly recaps since June 2026, plus event explainers.
  • Manage ticketing and scheduling for 3 to 4 events a week over the last six months, with 50+ sign-ups each. Tools: District, BookMyShow, Offlyn, Thumpn, and Razorpay for our own workshops.
  • Ran 50+ events, many sold out (30 to 200 people each), and worked front of house at 50+ shows.
  • Email festivals and venues to get us booked. We've played Singapore, Vietnam, Manila and Hong Kong.
  • Co-ideated and ran Turing Twist at BLR Hubba 2025, an AI-vs-improvisers show, working directly with the venue team.

Software Engineer

  • Co-developed and maintained a portfolio of ~14 enterprise applications across Jira-based agile sprints; handled Kubernetes deployments across dev, integration, and production environments.
  • Engineered Concerto (Java 21, Spring Boot, React, PostgreSQL), the quarterly control certification platform used by accounting teams in Paris and global offices. Built and evolved its multi-level certification workflow (employee verification, manager approval or anomaly flagging, escalation up the management chain).
  • Developed anomaly views and KRI aggregation across multiple business entities per department, rolling up the management hierarchy.
  • Built autovalidation for nil-activity departments legally required to follow controls: introduced a synthesis at each hierarchy level so active departments are validated normally while nil-activity entities are auto-validated; fixed an ordering defect by enforcing child-before-parent validation.
  • Technical point of contact for the month-long quarterly certification campaign (2,000 employees using the application in real time): owned production deployment, PostgreSQL data backup and validation, and live issue triage, resolving all reported incidents.
  • Wrote unit tests in JUnit and Mockito; executed pre-campaign dry runs on a 30–40% data subset with user validation before each live campaign.
  • Used GitHub Copilot for writing tests, refactoring, debugging, and code reviews.
